Of the power and glory,
Of people high and low,

Of hope for what might be:
How the greatest One of all
Came for me.

Shepherds on the hillside,
Angels in the skies,
Wise men travel westward,
A king in torment lies,
A star, a stable in the night,
An oxen's breath and horn:
There, the greatest One of all
Was born.

All of heaven, all the earth
Is lit with peaceful sky.
Cloud and wind are singing
A lullaby.

Now I'm wiser, older
And many years have passed.
The world seems so much colder
